Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead our HR department. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function, ensuring alignment with the companys goals and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across the full spectrum of HR activities, from talent acquisition and employee development to compliance and HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for all levels of the organization, ensuring the hiring of high-caliber talent that fits the company culture.
  • Develop strategic workforce planning to meet current and future talent needs.
  • Implement efficient and effective recruitment strategies, including employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

2. Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on all employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Foster a positive work environment by implementing employee engagement programs, feedback mechanisms, and recognition initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives to improve employee morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Develop and oversee internal communication strategies that keep employees informed and engaged.

3. Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation structures, including salary benchmarking and pay equity analysis.
  • Manage benefits programs (healthcare, retirement, etc.) to ensure they meet employee needs and are cost-effective for the company.
  • Implement bonus, reward, and incentive programs to recognize and retain top performers.

4. Learning and Development:

  • Develop and implement training and development programs to support employee growth, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with department heads to assess training needs and deliver targeted programs that enhance skills and performance.
  • Create career development plans that align with individual employee goals and organizational needs.

5. Performance Management:

  • Lead the performance management process, ensuring regular reviews, goal setting, and constructive feedback.
  • Implement tools and processes to track and improve employee performance and productivity.
  • Develop and coach managers to effectively manage performance and address underperformance where necessary.

6. HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Ensure that all HR practices are fully compliant with local, regional, and international labor laws and regulations.
  • Keep up to date with changes in employment legislation and ensure policies are updated accordingly.
  • Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures that foster a compliant, fair, and inclusive workplace.
  • Manage audits related to HR, ensuring the company meets all regulatory and compliance requirements.

7. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):

  • Lead and champion the companys diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to create a welcoming and inclusive workplace.
  • Develop programs and initiatives that promote a diverse workforce, equitable policies, and an inclusive culture.
  • Track and report on DEI metrics to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.

8. Organizational Development and Change Management:

  • Drive organizational development initiatives to support business growth and transformation.
  • Lead change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational changes, restructures, or new systems implementations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align organizational structure and talent with business objectives.

9. HR Data and Analytics:

  • Implement and oversee HR information systems (HRIS) to track employee data, performance, and other key HR metrics.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform HR strategy and decision-making, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Present regular reports and dashboards to leadership on workforce trends, turnover, recruitment metrics, and other relevant KPIs.

10. Leadership and Team Development:

  • Lead and mentor the HR team, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and support needed to excel in their roles.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the HR function.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide strategic HR advice that supports the companys goals and vision.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree or HR certification preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing HR teams across all HR functions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Strong experience in talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Expertise in compensation and benefits management, including salary benchmarking and benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and HR data analytics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in change management and organizational development.
  • Ability to navigate complex HR challenges and influence senior stakeholders.
