Job Summary: 

The Procurement Specialist supports the client success team, the professional services team and client organizations directly through full-service quoting, procurement and inventory management which results in direct value.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quotes and process requisitions for hardware and software including sourcing, negotiation, ordering, receiving and distribution of equipment
  • Develop and sustain strong working relationships with team members, clients, and vendors
  • Manage client expectations through timely feedback and proactive communication with client and team members
  • Assist with tracking, recording, and auditing of products to ensure accurate client invoices
  • Participating in shipping and receiving
  • Other duties and assignments as required by the management team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal team members
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Maintains the ability to stay organized and be detail-oriented
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products and databases is required

Experience

  • BS / MS in Finance, Accounting or Business Managment 
  • 2+ years of experience in relevant field preferably with IT distributors or MSP
