About the job Procurement Specialist
Job Summary:
The Procurement Specialist supports the client success team, the professional services team and client organizations directly through full-service quoting, procurement and inventory management which results in direct value.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotes and process requisitions for hardware and software including sourcing, negotiation, ordering, receiving and distribution of equipment
- Develop and sustain strong working relationships with team members, clients, and vendors
- Manage client expectations through timely feedback and proactive communication with client and team members
- Assist with tracking, recording, and auditing of products to ensure accurate client invoices
- Participating in shipping and receiving
- Other duties and assignments as required by the management team
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal team members
- Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
- Maintains the ability to stay organized and be detail-oriented
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products and databases is required
Experience
- BS / MS in Finance, Accounting or Business Managment
- 2+ years of experience in relevant field preferably with IT distributors or MSP
