Job Summary:
The specialist, procurement supports the client success team, the professional services team and client organizations directly through full-service quoting, procurement and inventory management which results in direct value to clients.
Requirements
· Prepare quotes and process requisitions for hardware and software including sourcing, negotiation, ordering, receiving and distribution of equipment
· Develop and sustain strong working relationships with team members, clients, and vendors
· Manage client expectations through timely feedback and proactive communication with client and team members
· Track, record, and audit of products to ensure accurate client invoices
· Participating in shipping and receiving
· Other duties and assignments as required by the management team
Experience:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal team members
· Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
· Maintains the ability to stay organized and be detail-oriented
· Demonstrates a passion for solving problems or helping others and take the initiative in driving continuous improvement/execution excellence
· Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to self-manage and multi-task effectively and accurately in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
· Knowledge of or strong interest in computers is required
· Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products and databases is required
Experience:
· High school diploma/GED
· 4+ years of experience with IT distributors (Ingram, TechData, Dell, CDW etc.)
