What personal data do we collect and why?
We work actively with data protection to ensure that the personal data we collect about you is processed in a secure and responsible manner. Prime Selection may collect certain personal data about you within the scope of the services we offer. The collection of information and the subsequent processing of your personal data is necessary for us to fulfil our obligations under our terms of use, or as necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing of the information. In some cases, we will share your personal data with external parties. This may, for example, be suppliers or authorities to whom we are legally obliged to provide selected information. We will always take the necessary precautions to ensure that the external party processes your personal data correctly and securely. How do we access your personal data?
The personal data we store about you is information that you have provided to us. Most of them are from when you registered as a user on our website, when you apply for a position through Prime Selections careers page or at another function, such as our contact pages.
We will also collect personal data about you when you visit our website through cookies, with your consent. As a visitor to our website, you are not obliged to give us access to your personal information, and you can avoid this by not accepting that we use cookies on your device or that you send us an email after your jobsearch process has ended. If you are inactive as a job seeker, you must actively request the deletion of your personal data to kontakt@primeselection.no
Your personal data will be shared with the following external parties:
Third parties in Prime Selection.
In some cases, we will share your personal data with third party recruiters. This may take place in connection with a recruitment process where the other entity offers services that may lead to it processing personal data on your behalf. We will always inform you and ask for permission before a third party recruiter becomes involved.
Vendors
In some cases, we will share your personal data with our suppliers, such as IT suppliers for storage and operations, suppliers of marketing tools, recruitment tools and personality tests.
Authorities
If required by national or international legislation, we may need to share your personal data with authorities, such as the Norwegian Tax Administration or NAV.
Customers
If you apply for a job through Prime Selection and proceed with the recruitment process, we will, towards the end of the process, present your data to our client. The recruiting customer is responsible for how they process the data they receive. If you have questions about how our customers process your information, we recommend that you contact them directly. What are your rights?
Applicable data protection legislation gives you more rights when your personal data is processed. Below you will find a brief description of these rights. The rights you have may vary, depending on the basis on which we process your personal data.
Right to withdraw consent
When we process your personal data based on your consent, you always have the right to withdraw your consent. The easiest way for you to do this is to contact us on kontakt@primeselection.no or contact your recruiter directly for deletion of your information. This can be done at any time.
Right of access
If Prime Selection processes your personal data, you have the right to have this confirmed and to receive information about the processing. You also have the right to request a copy of the personal data we process about you free of charge.
Right to rectification
In some cases, you have the right to request Prime Selection to rectify personal data that you believe is incorrect or incomplete. Regardless of this, you always have the opportunity to change information that you have added to your candidate profile. This is done by sending an email to kontakt@primeselection.no
Right to object
In some cases, you have the right to object to Prime Selection processing of your personal data, for example in connection with direct marketing. In all cases where we process your personal data based on our own legitimate interests, you have the opportunity to object to the processing. If you object, we will stop the processing of your personal data.
Right to restriction
In some cases, you have the right to request Prime Selection to restrict the processing of your personal data, for example in cases where you question the accuracy of the personal data we process. In these cases, you may ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data during the period it takes for us to verify that your personal data is correct. In these cases, we may only process your personal data with your consent, with the exception of the case where Prime Selection investigates, asserts or defends against legal claims in order to protect the rights of others or to protect important public interests.
Right to erasure
In some cases, you have the right to ask Prime Selection to delete your personal data. This right applies in the following cases:
1. If the personal data are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected.
2. If you withdraw your consent and we do not need to retain your personal data for other purposes, such as legal obligations.
3. If you object to processing based on legitimate interests and these contradictions outweigh our interests.
4. If you object to our processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes and we do not need to process your personal data for other purposes.
5. If your personal data is processed unlawfully.
6. If your personal data needs to be erased due to legal obligations.
Please note that there may be an obligation for us to still store your personal data, for example in accordance with an agreement with you or in accordance with legal obligations. In these cases, we will only process your personal data for this purpose.
Right to data portability
In cases where we process your personal data with your consent, or to fulfil an agreement with you, you have the right to receive the personal data that you have provided to us in a structured format.

Changes to the information text on privacy
From time to time, we may need to make changes to the information about how we process personal data. The latest version will always be available on our website. In the event of more extensive changes (such as changes in the purpose of our processing of your personal data or changes to what personal data we process about you), we will send the information to you via the email address you have provided to us.
