About the job Electrical Foreman
We're hiring an Electrical Foreman with solid commercial construction experience to lead a dedicated team on ground-up and tenant improvement projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in guiding crews, ensuring quality craftsmanship, and keeping projects on track. Key Responsibilities:

Crew Management: Oversee and guide a team of 5-10 electricians, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code on commercial construction projects.

Hands-On Leadership: In smaller crews (2-3 people), step in as a hands-on leader, assisting with installations and troubleshooting as needed.

Quality Control: Ensure work is performed to the highest standard of quality, following blueprints and specifications, while maintaining a clean and safe job site.

Team Coordination: Foster strong communication between team members, foremen, and other trades to ensure projects meet deadlines and meet safety and quality expectations.

Jobsite Organization: Maintain organized and well-managed job sites, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly and all safety protocols are followed.

Training & Development: Mentor junior electricians, providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills and adhere to company standards.
Qualifications:

Experience: At least 5 years of electrical experience, including experience leading teams on commercial construction projects. Must have a strong understanding of both low and high voltage systems.

Licensing: Journeyman Electrician license strongly preferred.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and guide a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Hands-On Experience: Comfortable stepping in to work alongside your crew when needed, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope.

Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, conduit installation, panel and gear installs, device terminations, and troubleshooting electrical systems.

Other Requirements: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Must pass drug screening and background check.
Schedule:

Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work based on project needs. No on-call or overnight shifts; this is a daytime role with a focus on work-life balance.
