A results-driven sales professional is needed to drive business growth within the restoration, mitigation, and construction sectors. This role focuses on quality sales and lead generation, with an emphasis on developing a strong book of business across multi-family, commercial, education, and prime contractor markets. The ideal candidate will be seasoned in sales, capable of building long-term relationships, and adept at identifying strategic partnership opportunities, including general contractors, hospitals, and government set-aside joint ventures.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on acquiring new business within restoration, mitigation, and construction.
  • Identify and secure partnerships with prime contractors, general contractors, property managers, and key stakeholders in multi-family, education, commercial, healthcare, and government sectors.
  • Generate and qualify leads through networking, industry events, referrals, and outbound sales efforts.
  • Leverage market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to secure long-term contracts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and aligning service offerings accordingly.
  • Provide consultative sales solutions, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Strategic Growth & Market Expansion

  • Identify and pursue joint venture opportunities with government set-aside programs and large-scale commercial projects.
  • Develop partnerships with general contractors and prime contractors to position services effectively within the industry.
  • Work with leadership to expand service lines and geographic reach.

Sales Presentations & Contract Negotiations

  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and bids tailored to client needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and service agreements to close deals effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project transitions from sales to execution.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Coordinate closely with project managers and operations teams to align sales efforts with service delivery.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and market insights.
  • Offer recommendations based on industry trends to inform business strategies.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or account management within construction, restoration, mitigation, or a related field.
  • Experience successfully building a book of business and developing long-term client relationships.
  • Strong ability to sell and partner with multi-family property owners, commercial businesses, educational institutions, and prime contractors.
  • Skilled in negotiation, contract management, and closing large-scale deals.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, think on their feet, and adapt to evolving market conditions.

Preferred but Not Required

  • Experience in restoration and mitigation sales.
  • Background in working with government contracts, hospitals, or set-aside joint ventures.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Industry certifications (IICRC, etc.) and a bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field are a plus but not required.

Work Environment

  • Requires travel for client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Hybrid work environment, with flexibility based on business needs.
  • Occasional work outside standard business hours to meet client demands.
