This is a long-term opportunity to support a high-profile project, focused on servicing and maintaining CCTV cameras and access control systems. The position is night shift and requires candidates who are fully comfortable working overnight hours. Responsibilities:

  • Install, mount, and wire CCTV cameras, card readers, maglocks, strikes, and other access control hardware
  • Pull, route, and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/6, coax, etc.)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics
  • Perform structured cabling tasks including cable support, labeling, and testing
  • Mount enclosures, run conduit as needed, and ensure a neat final install
  • Use hand tools and power tools in compliance with job site and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades on-site
  • Maintain proper documentation and adhere to installation standards and timelines

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in security alarm or low-voltage system installation
  • Familiarity with CCTV and access control hardware (HID, maglocks, strikes, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
  • Comfortable using ladders, lifts, and working in a commercial construction environment
  • Must be OK with night shift work
  • Must pass background check for access to client property
  • OSHA 10 preferred

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in surveillance systems, access control, or related fields.
  • Strong background in physical security hardware is preferred.
  • Proficiency with testing equipment such as Fluke testers, meters, and OTDRs.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment.
  • Exceptional mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of relay logic and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Certifications or training in Lenel, Genetec, Software House, Milestone, Avigilon are appreciated.
  • First-Aid, CPR, and OSHA 10 certifications are advantageous.

Requirements:

  • Availability for overtime and overnight work.
  • Competency in computer use and communication in English.
  • Valid driver's license and adherence to the company's Fleet Safety Program.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, and working in varied environments.
