PLC Technician

Were looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior PLC Technician to join our team and support automation and controls projects in various industrial settings. This role offers strong growth potential, hands-on learning, and great benefitsincluding a company truck, gas card, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the programming, testing, and troubleshooting of PLC systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)

• Help with HMI/SCADA development and support

• Participate in fieldwork including installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automation systems

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation

• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure smooth project execution

• Maintain accurate documentation of systems and work performed

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule every other weekend to support urgent service needs

Requirements:

• 2 -3 years of hands-on experience with PLCs or completion of relevant training/certification program

• Basic knowledge of ladder logic and industrial automation systems

• Familiarity with electrical panels and low-voltage control systems

• Ability to troubleshoot control systems and follow technical documentation

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

• Willingness to travel locally for on-site work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field

• Exposure to HMI/SCADA systems and platforms

• Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar systems
