Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, service, and operation of commercial HVAC systems including but not limited to DX & Water Source Heat Pumps, Split Systems of Unlimited Capacities, and Packaged RTUs.
- Expertise in VRF, DOAS units, Energy Recovery Wheels, and specialized air handling equipment repairs.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, understanding pump curves/stalls, and water delivery systems.
- Lead repair teams, ensuring safe work environments and practices.
- Work with power distributions under 600 VAC and perform tasks in energized environments safely.
- Rig, harness, and relocate heavy equipment parts.
- Navigate and troubleshoot O&M On-Board controls including Tracer-Summit, Carrier CCN, Daikin Microtech, etc.
- Advanced Skills for Mid-Upper Scale Compensation:
- Rebuild and troubleshoot large gas-fired commercial boilers with factory training from brands like AJAX, AO Smith, and others.
- Expertise in large commercial Centrifugal and Air-Cooled Chillers, with factory training from Trane, Carrier, Daikin, etc.
- Exceptional customer service skills, proficient in communication across various platforms including email, text, and social media.
- Adherence to company and customer standards for preventative maintenance and repair procedures, including strict safety requirements and proper PPE usage.
- Documentation and paperwork management, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Education and Training Requirements:
- 10+ years experience as a Commercial/Industrial HVAC Service Technician.
- High School diploma / GED
- EPA/CFC Certification
- Valid Drivers License
