Job Title: Business Development Manager - Low Voltage Security/Electrical Background
Location: Dallas, TX
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in Low Voltage Security Systems or Electrical to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role focuses on prospecting and working with clients for the sale of Burglar Alarm Systems, Access Control, and Video Surveillance and Verification solutions. The ideal candidate will generate new revenue through both self-generated and company-provided leads, while also managing existing customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new business through canvassing, networking, and business development strategies.
Handle existing customer accounts while actively prospecting for new clientele.
Identify and pursue large RFP opportunities in the Security Systems space.
Collaborate with estimators to put together comprehensive scopes and proposals.
Create and deliver proposals independently.
Leverage prior experience in sectors like airports or hospitals (a major plus).
Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets and performance goals.
Demonstrate a customer service mindset, ensuring client satisfaction.
Work closely within a team but also excel independently as a self-starter.
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of B2B experience in the Security Systems industry.
Proven experience generating leads and securing large-scale contracts.
Familiarity with Burglar Alarm Systems, Access Control, and Video Surveillance.
Technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and explain security technologies.
Prior experience working on projects in airports or hospitals.
Skills and Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency and typing skills.
Highly organized, with strong time management and prioritization capabilities.
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Comfortable speaking in impromptu situations.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional relationships.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary of $60K, with a commission structure leading to $100-200K OTE (On-Target Earnings).
Auto allowance provided.
