About the job Fire Alarm Project Manager
We are actively seeking a dedicated Fire Alarm Project Manager in the West Phoenix Metro area to lead a range of projects from Mission Critical Facilities and Data Centers to Large Commercial Facilities. With an emphasis on precision in project scheduling and job costing, this role demands a detail-oriented individual with a robust understanding of fire alarm systems design, layout, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of fire alarm projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
- Work collaboratively with the design team to expedite project design phases and submissions.
- Maintain current knowledge of product lines to enhance project quality and performance.
- Effectively manage project-related documentation, including permits and contracts.
- Supervise the Fire Alarm Superintendent, coordinating efforts and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Administer change orders and process contracts with precision.
- Display comprehensive knowledge of the budget to manage costs effectively.
Requirements:
- Residency in the West Phoenix Metro area.
- NICET Level 2 certification.
- Experience in managing projects within Mission Critical Facilities.
- Strong grasp of design and layout for Fire Alarm Systems.
- General electrical knowledge.
- Proficiency in reading plans and excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems and Aspirating Smoke Detection (Vesda).
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must provide reliable references and have tools for the job.
Nice to Haves:
- Certifications and experience with Notifier, Fike, or Kidde Fire Alarm Systems.
- Additional industry-related certifications.
Benefits:
- Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000, dependent on experience, licensing or certifications.
