About the job Fire Alarm Designer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Designer with expertise in Revit to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in fire alarm system design, preferably with a focus on mission-critical facilities. If you have experience with Notifier, VESDA, and Revit/BIM, and hold a NICET II or higher, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and create accurate design plans using Revit or Autodesk, including 3D diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements.
- Maintain high attention to detail throughout the design process.
- Communicate design concepts effectively to clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Stay informed on industry trends and technological advancements in fire alarm design.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of Fire Alarm System Design experience.
- Proficiency in Revit or Autodesk for design and documentation (2 years of Revit experience required).
- NICET Level II certification required (Level III is a plus).
- Experience in mission-critical facilities preferred.
- Knowledge of aspirating smoke detection (VESDA) and clean agent fire suppression systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Tempe, AZ (relocation assistance available).
Benefits:
- $65k - $105k, dependent on experience.
