Job Description:
As a Cable Technician specializing in structured cabling and security, you will play a crucial role in our team. Responsibilities include:
Structured Cabling:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing cable infrastructure in new construction commercial environments, such as Hospitals, Data Centers, Airports, and Commercial Retail facilities.
- Conducting maintenance on existing cabling systems and tenant improvement projects.
- Test newly installed or relocated cables to ensure they comply with company specifications.
- Installing wireless access routers, patch panels, and various internet technology devices.
- Learning and executing troubleshooting procedures in accordance with company standards.
- Installing cable support structures, including j-hooks, cable racks, and inner-duct.
- Experience in installing and troubleshooting low voltage systems, with a preference for greater technical expertise.
- Termination experience with Category 5, 5E, 6, 6a, fiber strands over 100, and copper
- Installation of overhead cable supports, J-Hooks, and cable running lines properly aligned with cable trays.

- Proficiency in finish work, including the installation of faceplates and device labeling.
Requirements:
- Conduct structured cabling, security/access control, and related cable system installations for large commercial projects.
- Maintain a professional appearance and exhibit a positive and respectful attitude.
- Preferred: Minimum of one year of professional experience; willing to train the right candidate.
- Possess a valid driver's license, valid car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a company-standard drug screen and background check.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
- Available for 40+ hours per week.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation ranging from $22 to $32 per hour, depending on experience
