Reports To: Manager of Applications and Data Security

Position Overview:

The Application Support Specialist provides frontline support to internal users experiencing issues with enterprise applications. This includes handling support tickets, assisting with urgent walk-up requests, and collaborating across departments to complete application-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top-tier customer support to internal staff.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application errors, working with vendors as needed.
  • Manage support tickets promptly in accordance with SLAs.
  • Create and maintain documentation for applications and training materials.
  • Maintain an internal knowledge base of frequently requested processes and solutions.
  • Support application deployment and end-user training.
  • Identify and suggest process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Excel and general task management tools.
  • Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written directions with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and transporting equipment such as computers or laptops.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $24 - $34/hr, dependent on experience.
