We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Lead Project Technician for long and short-term projects in Scranton, PA. The ideal candidate will have experience leading jobs involving data, voice, alarm, video, and paging systems. We are looking for self-motivated and reliable technicians who can work independently and find solutions to complete the job.

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Low Voltage Cable Technician with expertise in CAT5e, fiber optic, and network installations.
- Experience with CCTV, Security Systems, and Alarm Systems is a plus.
- Industry-specific certifications are a plus (BICSI, Siemon, Panduit, Belden, Corning).
- Available for extensive travel as needed.
- Ability to work primarily nights, with flexibility for day shifts when required.
- Experience reading blueprints and site maps.
- Knowledgeable in CCTV, voice, and data cabling.
- Experience with closeouts and MDF/IDF buildouts.
- Ability to identify independent colors and understand color codes.
- Comfortable working in cramped spaces and at heights using lifts.
- Possess basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transportation.
- Strong proficiency in using smartphones, personal computers, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record; no DUI or DWI in the last three years.
- Experience with conduit installation is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain various cabling infrastructures.
- Install IP cameras, specifically Axis models.
- Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling through concrete walls and limited conduit work.
- Ensure all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations.
- Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
- Conduct tests and troubleshooting to ensure newly installed cable systems and components are operational.
- Ensure installations meet local, state, and federal codes, as well as legal and insurance requirements.
- Adhere to all required project safety requirements, including OSHA regulations.
- Provide regular project updates to management.
- Lead and train small crews of 2-8 technicians.
Compensation:
- $20 - $40 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
