Position Summary
We're hiring experienced Licensed Service Electricians to join our traveling service team. This is a hands-on field role that involves troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and upgrading commercial and light industrial electrical systems. Projects vary by client need and may include night or day shifts. Some travel is required for this role, up to 50% as needed, depending on job location and the client's needs. 

What to Expect: 

  • Perform commercial electrical service, diagnostics, and repairs for commercial/industrial electrical systems
  • Perform system upgrades, retrofits, and code corrections
  • Troubleshoot systems, maintain NEC/code compliance, and complete documentation (photos, checklists, As-Builts) 
  • Service work includes generators, fuse boxes, preventative maintenance, and general repair 
  • Travel to multiple customer sites daily and 3rd shift work (approx. 50/50 split based on client needs) 
  • Work solo or with a small team, depending on the scope of work and job size
  • Maintain a safe, professional worksite and follow all PPE/safety requirements
  • Conduct functional and safety testing on installed systems
  • Weekly pay during contract period; company vehicle provided after full-time hire 
  • Represent the company professionally on every job site

Requirements: 

  • Active Journeyman Electrician license or strong equivalent field experience (not required in specific states that do not require licensing)  
  • Commercial service/troubleshooting expertise 
  • Comfortable working 3rd shift as needed (mix of day/night work depending on client)
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics 
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record 
  • Must have own tools and PPE 
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening 
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Atlanta area daily; occasional overnight travel possible 

Compensation: 

  • $21 - $40/hr, depending on experience and location 
  • $125/day per diem for overnight travel 
  • Full-time, long-term opportunity
