Job Description: Registered Nurse
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the team of our client, a specialist purpose-built senior care unit and residential setting in Kent. This renowned organization is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to older individuals, and they are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse with a genuine passion for senior care and high-quality nursing.
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role within this value-driven, not-for-profit charity. The organization has been are proud to be members of NAPA (National Association for Providers of Activities for Older People). As well as the personal care that is required, the homes also provide other services including daily newspapers, library service, hairdressing, manicure, pedicure and chiropody. They also offer an extensive range of entertainments and activities throughout all of our homes.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £19-£20 per hour
Licence/Certification: NMC PIN (required)
Work authorization: United Kingdom (required)
Location: In person, Tenterden, Kent
RESPONSIBILITIES:
⦁ Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, prioritizing their wellbeing at all times
⦁ Demonstrate strong ethical leadership skills, serving as a role model for the team
⦁ Take on team/shift leadership and/or management responsibilities as required
⦁ Maintain an active NMC PIN (RGN/RMN) and uphold professional standards
⦁ Work flexible day and night shifts, including rotational schedules
⦁ Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities
⦁ Embody the organization's values of Compassion, Commitment, Collaboration, Innovation, Integration, and Accountability
REQUIREMENTS:
⦁ Active NMC PIN (RGN/RMN) is essential
⦁ Previous experience in team/shift leadership or management is necessary
⦁ Eligibility to work in the UK is a must (no sponsorship available)
⦁ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
⦁ Genuine passion for working with older people and providing dementia care
