WorkStation Specialist
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Computer Operator to provide IT support, including advanced PC installation, troubleshooting, and Tier 2 assistance for hardware/software across a geographic region. The role involves working with IT teams to install and configure PCs, peripherals, and software in network and standalone environments, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and supporting mobile devices. Responsibilities also include supporting telecommunication equipment, documenting technical processes, and ensuring accurate inventory management. Occasional travel, including to remote sites, is required, with reimbursement per company guidelines.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Valid Drivers License.
- Ability to travel within PA for trainings and meetings.
- 2+ years of experience with PC hardware/software support in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with multifunction printers, Remedy ticketing system, and premise cabling (Cat5e/6).
- Strong communication and attention to detail.
- Desired: Experience with Cisco VPN routers, Active Directory, and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
