About the Role:
Were seeking candidates for a dynamic, hands-on HR Director for an established not for profit organization located in Washington County PA. This is a full-time role and includes salary, PTO and health benefits. This role offers the chance to bring modern HR practices to a nonprofit environment and make a meaningful impact in the organization, including 200 core employees and 1,600 agency program participants. Hybrid working model, 3 days onsite per week in Washington PA office.
This role will focus on developing and optimizing core HR functions, including:
- Talent Acquisition and Retention: Drive initiatives to enhance recruiting, onboarding, and employee experience.
- Training and Development: Work alongside our Training and Development Manager to refine training programs.
- Compliance and Policy Management: Update handbooks and policies to reflect an evolving organization.
- Performance Management: Establish performance review processes to support employee growth and engagement.
- HRIS Optimization: Collaborate on the effective use of company HRIS system.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HR, ideally with a nonprofit background (preferred but not required).
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with a focus on team building and accountability.
- Hands-on experience across core HR functions: benefits, compliance, employee relations, compensation, and recruiting.
- Seeking candidates that live in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh or Washington County specifically.
