Finance Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Specialist to manage day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and compliance. The role will support budgeting, accounting, and financial analysis while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily finance and accounting activities including AP, AR, and general ledger
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and MIS
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of accounts
• Maintain compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external consultants
• Monitor expenses, cost centers, and operational spend
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-support reports

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
• CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred
• Relevant experience in finance or accounting roles (BPO / services industry preferred)
