About the job IT Support & Cloud Executive
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly capable IT Support & Cloud Executive with strong hands‑on experience in Hybrid IT environments, covering On‑Premises Infrastructure and Cloud Platforms (Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365).
This role goes beyond basic IT support and requires ownership of systems, proactive monitoring, infrastructure troubleshooting, and close collaboration with senior cloud and security teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across Active Directory, Windows Servers, virtualization platforms, Azure infrastructure, and Microsoft 365 services.
Key Responsibilities
On‑Prem Infrastructure Responsibilities
- Administer and support Active Directory (Users, Groups, GPOs, DNS, DHCP).
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux, Windows Server environments (2016 / 2019 / 2022).
- Perform server patching, health monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Support virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper‑V).
- Assist with backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues escalated from L1/L2 teams.
- Maintain documentation, diagrams, and SOPs for on‑prem systems.
Cloud Infrastructure (Azure)
- Manage and support Azure resources, including:
- Virtual Machines
- Virtual Networks, NSGs
- Storage Accounts
- Azure Backup & Recovery
- Assist with hybrid identity integration (AD Connect, Azure AD / Entra ID).
- Monitor Azure workloads for availability, security, and cost optimization.
- Implement basic Azure security controls (RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access).
- Support cloud migrations, upgrades, and environment hardening.
- Work with senior engineers on disaster recovery and business continuity designs.
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Administer Microsoft 365 tenant, including:
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive
- Manage users, licenses, groups, shared mailboxes, and security settings.
- Implement and support MFA, Conditional Access, and basic DLP policies.
- Monitor service health and respond to Microsoft 365 incidents.
- Support compliance and audit requirements related to Microsoft 365.
IT Operations & Security
- Use ITSM tools to manage incidents, service requests, and changes.
- Participate in security audits, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities.
- Assist in endpoint security, patch compliance, and identity governance.
- Coordinate with Global NOC, SOC, and Cloud teams for escalations.
- Participate in after‑hours support and critical incident response when required.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Experience
- 2–4 years experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Support, or Cloud Operations.
- Proven hands‑on experience in both On‑Prem and Cloud environments.
Mandatory Certifications
Candidates must hold or actively be pursuing:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104)
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS‑900) or M365 Administrator equivalent
Preferred / Strongly Desired Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ‑900)
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD‑102)
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC‑900)
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (plus)
- ITIL Foundation (plus)
Technical Skills Required
- Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
- Azure AD / Entra ID (Hybrid Identity)
- Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Azure VM & Network management
- Backup & Disaster Recovery concepts
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- PowerShell (basic to intermediate)
- ITSM / Service Desk tools
