Dental Verification Specialist (CSR)

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dental Verification Specialist to join our Customer Service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying patients’ dental insurance benefits, communicating with insurance providers, and ensuring accurate information is relayed to dental offices and patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage details for patients
• Contact insurance companies via phone or online portals to obtain accurate information
• Review and interpret insurance policies, including PPO, HMO, and indemnity plans
• Enter and update patient insurance data into the system accurately
• Communicate verification results to dental offices or internal teams
• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls professionally
• Resolve discrepancies in insurance information
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Meet daily productivity and quality targets

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
• 1–2 years of experience in dental insurance verification or a healthcare CSR role
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and insurance processes
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
