Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Video Editor to assist our video production team in creating high-quality videos for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for video editing and a strong understanding of video production processes. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the editing and post-production process for video projects, including cutting footage, adding music and sound effects, and creating transitions and effects.

- Collaborate with the video production team to ensure projects are completed on time and meet client expectations.

- Organize and maintain video files and assets, ensuring they are easily accessible for future projects.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve video editing skills.

- Communicate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and make necessary edits and revisions.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

- Contribute to brainstorming and creative sessions to develop new and innovative video ideas.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field.

- 1-2 years of experience in video editing or post-production.

- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.

- Strong understanding of video production processes and techniques.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Detail-oriented and able to maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.

- A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is preferred.
