About the job Assistant Bookkeeper

As an Assistant Bookkeeper, you will work closely with our accounting team to assist with daily financial tasks and ensure accurate and timely record-keeping. Your responsibilities will include maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and processing payments. You will also assist with preparing financial reports and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

- Process payments and maintain records of transactions

- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures

- Other duties as assigned by the accounting team or management

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures
