About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced FSQA Manager to lead food safety, quality assurance, sanitation, and regulatory compliance programs within a food processing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong food manufacturing experience, leadership skills, and expertise in HACCP and USDA-regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the FSQA department and develop high-performing team members.
  • Manage HACCP, Food Safety Plans, GMPs, SSOPs, and Environmental Monitoring Programs.
  • Lead food safety investigations, CAPA, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee sanitation verification, product hold/release, and product quality compliance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with USDA-FSIS personnel.
  • Lead internal, customer, third-party, and regulatory audits, including BRCGS.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, food safety, and labeling requirements.
  • Develop FSQA training programs and communicate quality and food safety trends.
  • Partner with Production and other departments on process improvements and new products.
  • Support facility start-up, pre-operational sanitation, and second-shift activities as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in food processing and quality management.
  • Management or supervisory experience with the ability to coach and develop teams.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, sanitation, microbial hazards, and food safety regulations.
  • Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a food processing environment, including cold temperatures and production areas.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Meat processing experience with USDA-regulated products.
  • Experience with USDA-FSIS, BRCGS, M3, Redzone, or TraceGains.

Additional Information

  • On-site position in Valley, Alabama
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.
  • Occasional travel and non-standard hours may be required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and work in temperatures below 32°F.
