Occupational Therapist

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and licensed Occupational Therapist to develop and implement effective activities and programs tailored to our patients' individual needs. This role requires a patient-focused professional with strong clinical expertise to contribute to a well-rounded and fulfilling rehabilitation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, lead, and evaluate occupational therapy programs to enhance patients' physical, cognitive, and social skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting therapy techniques as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies to support ongoing rehabilitation.
• Document patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans according to facility guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience required.
• Certification: Must be state-certified as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (TR) or Occupational Therapist (OT)/Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the past 5 years.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure: Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Kentucky.
