Job Overview:
Join our team as a skilled Maintenance Technician, responsible for performing complex mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks essential for the optimal operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role is moderately physical and requires hands-on problem-solving to diagnose, repair, and prevent equipment malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion systems.
  • Execute repair procedures that prevent reoccurrence of equipment faults.
  • Navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for efficient troubleshooting.
  • Modify positions and resolve issues on ABB robot models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
  • Install, move, align, and set up new and existing equipment.
  • Operate machine shop equipment with precision.
  • Perform gas and electric welding tasks.
  • Complete maintenance records and keep work areas organized and orderly.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or team leaders.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing using SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software; skilled in gas and electric welding.
  • Robotics Knowledge: Experience modifying and diagnosing ABB robots (models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700).
  • Diagnostics: Strong ability to address mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in maintenance, specifically with Allen Bradley PLCs, hydraulics, robotics, and welding.
  • Additional Requirements: Proficiency in troubleshooting die-casting machine cells using PLCs and schematics.

Education Requirements:

  • Technical/vocational certification or some college coursework in related subjects is required.

Additional Information:
This role has the potential for direct hire for the right candidate. A competitive pay rate of up to $37.00 per hour will be offered based on skills and experience, along with a sign-on bonus available upon hire or conversion (subject to a one-year commitment).
