This role requires exceptional people skills to manage a multi-generational team of 30 maintenance technicians across 41 buildings, including administrative offices and student dormitories.

Reporting to the Director of Facilities, you will lead a team responsible for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and repair work, as well as managing complex properties. Experience with boilers is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and enhance client programs, including construction projects, preventive and corrective maintenance, energy management, landscaping, janitorial services, and mailroom operations.
  • Oversee facility operations including space planning, security, and mail services.
  • Manage renovation and building maintenance activities for a large, multi-faceted campus.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership experience with a focus on staff development and team building.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management.
  • Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, and energy management systems.
  • Experience with boilers is mandatory.
  • 3 years of management and functional experience in facilities management, overseeing complex properties and maintenance technicians.
