Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab Full Time

Location: Las Cruces, NM 88011

Salary: $64,000 - $82,000 (depending on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cath Lab team in Las Cruces, NM. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, particularly in cardiac catheterization, and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a highly motivated individual who is capable of working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest quality of care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures, including pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patients vital signs, administer medications, and assist with interventions as necessary during Cath Lab procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-operative care, and follow-up instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation of procedures and patient responses.
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the Cath Lab.
  • Assist in the maintenance and operation of Cath Lab equipment and ensure a sterile and safe environment.
  • Provide support and mentorship to other nursing staff and team members as needed.

Must-Haves:

  1. Education: Associates degree required; Graduate of a School of Nursing program. Bachelors degree and Masters degree preferred.
  2. Licensure: Current RN license in New Mexico or a compact state license required.
  3. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
  4. Experience: Previous Cath Lab experience is required.
