Industrial Electrician Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician Supervisor for our underground zinc operation. This position offers the opportunity to work in a prime location, with a 2-hour drive to the Thousand Islands, the Lake Ontario shoreline, the Adirondack Mountains, and world-class skiing at Lake Placid. Montreal and Ottawa are also within 2-3 hours for easy exploration of Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the electrical team.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign daily tasks.
• Manage inventory, scheduling, and ordering of materials and supplies.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components such as PLC panels, drives, motors, fans, VFDs, transformers, pumps, and generators.
• Work with electrical systems ranging from 4-20 mA, 4160, 13.8 AC up to 480v, 5kva, and DC voltages.
• Interpret and follow electrical schematics and prints.
• Provide support to the electrical team both underground and on the surface as needed.
• Develop a working knowledge of hoisting and crushing operations and troubleshoot related issues.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with other department managers and team members.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs and AC/DC drives.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Must be able to perform tasks safely, ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
