As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that surgical operations are conducted smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring that all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for use.
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining sterile conditions, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon.
  • Ensure proper sterilization and handling of surgical instruments before and after procedures.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and provide critical support to the surgical team during complex procedures.
  • Collaborate with the entire healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care in the operating room.

Must-Haves:

  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist course.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is required within 6 months of employment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles and procedures related to surgery.
  • 2-3 years of acute care, hospital-based operating room experience, specifically in Ortho, Neuro, and General Surgery.
