Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
- Educate and support patients throughout the MRI process, providing clear instructions and maintaining a comforting environment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to interpret and assess images accurately.
- Ensure the MRI equipment is operating at optimal performance, following quality control and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Must-Haves
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Certification:
- ARRT Certification in Radiography (required)
- ARRT Certification in MRI (must be obtained within six months of hire)
- American Heart Association BLS Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
