Are you a skilled professional in the commissioning field, with a passion for bringing new construction and renovation projects to life? Join our team as a Commissioning Agent and help ensure our projects exceed quality, performance, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Lead and manage the commissioning process for construction and renovation projects, ensuring all systems meet design specifications and performance goals.
- Documentation: Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test plans, reports, and system manuals.
- Testing & Analysis: Conduct thorough testing on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and controls, troubleshooting and resolving any issues.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to guarantee seamless system integration and functionality.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and address system performance issues, providing solutions to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Training & Support: Offer training to maintenance staff and building operators on operational and maintenance procedures for installed systems.
Ideal Skills & Abilities:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong HVAC and/or controls background, with expertise in Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) and Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Problem-Solving: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex system issues, with an eye for detail and quality.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach to team-based projects.
- Adaptability: Flexible in adjusting to changing project scopes, with a proactive and self-motivated mindset.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience & Certification: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years in commissioning or project management, with Registered Commissioning Agent certification.
- Technical Software: Proficient in MS Office, Cx Alloy (or similar Cx software), and Bluebeam. Experience in AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
- Professional Development: Participation in industry organizations for continued technical and professional growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering Experience: Background in engineering with experience in project management.
- Business Development: Strong sales and client relationship skills, with a potential for supervisory responsibilities in the future.
