What You Will Do:
- Plan, organize, and supervise the daily production activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality garments.
- Manage production schedules, workforce, and resources to meet customer demands and production targets.
- Monitor production processes, including sewing, cutting, and finishing, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Resolve any technical issues that arise during the production process, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline production processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for process optimization.
- Train and mentor the production team on Lean methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Utilize tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping to improve production workflows.
- Ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop and enforce quality control procedures.
- Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production staff, including supervisors, technicians, and operators.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs to enhance team performance.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overheads, to ensure budget adherence.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements, waste reduction, and efficient resource utilization.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, defects, and downtime.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
What You Will Need:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in garment production management.
- Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, including sewing, pattern making, and fabric selection.
- Proficiency in Lean Management principles, with a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement methods.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.
