Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Gather, understand, and help in business requirements definition.
• Manage Region projects roadmap, prioritize tasks with stakeholders, and communicate teams priorities based on business value, workload, and any other relevant factors.
• Develop the project's technical and functional specifications based on business prerequisites, technical assessment of partners APIs specifications, collaborating with both technical and business teams.
• Liaise with technical teams to ensure the feasibility of proposed solutions and contribute to the technical design in line with requirements.
• Create project plans in consultation with all stakeholders and closely monitor progress.
• Organize and lead meetings with project stakeholders to evaluate progress, identify potential risks, and address issues.
• Communicate regular updates and provide detailed reports on project progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct end-to-end testing and validate deliverables against specifications, including analyzing logs from various platforms.
• Apply established project management processes and methodologies within the company (methods, management tools, indicators, etc.).

Desired Profile:

• Experienced professional with a Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical project management, ideally in the telecom sector.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English, French is a plus.
• Technical expertise: APIs, XML, JSON, databases, connectivity (VPN and IP whitelisting), etc.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira).
• Knowledge of project management frameworks (PMP, Scrum, etc.).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Kibana, Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
• Understanding of mobile protocols and technologies (SMS, USSD, WAP, SMPP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of mobile payment systems is a plus.
