Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Remote Support Commissioning Engineer (Cx Engineer) to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to review NETA documentation to ensure adherence to industry standards and project specifications on behalf of the General Contractor (GC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical testing and commissioning, a deep understanding of NETA standards, and exceptional analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- NETA Documentation Review:
- Thoroughly review and analyze NETA documentation for compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Identify discrepancies or non-conformities in testing procedures and results.
- Standards Compliance:
- Ensure all electrical testing and commissioning activities meet NETA and other relevant industry standards.
- Provide recommendations for corrective actions when standards are not met.
- Technical Support:
- Offer expert guidance to project teams and General Contractors regarding NETA standards and best practices.
- Assist in interpreting complex technical documents and test results.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, compliance issues, and suggested improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of all documentation reviews and communications.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external contractors to facilitate effective communication and project coordination.
- Participate in virtual meetings to discuss project progress and address technical concerns.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest developments in NETA standards and electrical commissioning technologies.
- Contribute to the development of internal processes and training materials related to NETA compliance.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., NETA Level II/III or IV Technician).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical testing, commissioning, or quality assurance.
- Proven experience with NETA standards and documentation processes.
- Experience working with General Contractors and understanding of construction workflows.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and commissioning tools.
- Competency in using software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, PDF editors, and remote collaboration tools.
