We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Superintendent (NETA Certified) to lead and oversee field operations in electrical testing and maintenance projects. This position requires a hands-on leader who can manage teams, ensure project efficiency, and maintain the highest safety and quality standards in compliance with NETA (InterNational Electrical Testing Association) guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical power systems, field testing, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise field technicians performing electrical testing, commissioning, and maintenance of power systems.
  • Ensure compliance with NETA standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee and coordinate project schedules, resources, and logistics to meet deadlines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field personnel.
  • Conduct job site inspections to ensure safety and quality control.
  • Review test results and documentation to confirm adherence to industry and customer specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Assist with workforce training and certification to maintain high technical standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex field issues in real-time.
  • Support business development efforts by providing field expertise and project insights.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • NETA Certification (Level III or IV preferred).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical power systems testing and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership experience managing field teams and projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of power distribution systems, transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear.
  • Familiarity with industry safety regulations, including OSHA, NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and test procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using electrical test equipment such as Doble, Megger, and Omicron.
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to pass background and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with project management and scheduling software.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
