About the job SAP Application Lead Global AMS (SD,MM,FICO,PP,QM,EWM)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled SAP Application Lead with 8-10 years of experience to manage a Global AMS (Application Management Services) engagement. This role demands strong expertise across SAP modules, with a special focus on SAP EWM, and the ability to manage Change Requests (CRs) and custom application developments. The role requires working in a Mountain Time shift to provide overlap with the US-based client teams and ensure seamless coordination across geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of SAP AMS support across multiple functional domains, including EWM, FICO, MM, SD, QM and PP.
- Serve as the point of contact for AMS support and CR delivery, ensuring high customer satisfaction and SLA adherence.
- Manage the full lifecycle of Change Requests (CRs) from requirement gathering and effort estimation to delivery, testing, and deployment.
- Coordinate with global stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of both support and project activities.
- Oversee incident and problem management, ensuring timely resolution using tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
- Drive expectation management with stakeholders, proactively managing scope, timelines, priorities, and communications.
- Support and guide custom development activities and interface solutions; collaborate with ABAP and technical teams.
- Ensure effective team management: task assignments, performance monitoring, mentoring, and resolving delivery challenges.
- Exposure to Use tools for test management (e.g., HP ALM, SAP Solution Manager, Tricentis) and SLA/KPI tracking etc.
- Handle cutover planning, release coordination, and transport management.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in SAP AMS projects with demonstrated leadership in support and minor enhancement delivery.
- Preferred to have expertise and of SAP EWM and experience integrating it with MM/SD and third-party logistics systems.
- Experience managing Change Requests, impact analysis, and coordination across development and testing teams.
- Proficient in using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira for incident, problem, and change management.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, Tricentis) for functional and regression testing.
- Solid knowledge of ITIL processes and service delivery governance.
- Experience managing distributed teams, preferably in a global delivery model.
- Ability to work effectively in Mountain Time (MT) to align with US-based teams and stakeholders.
- Strong communication, expectation management, and client-facing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Certification in EWM or any other core module (FICO, MM, SD, PP).
- Experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments is a plus.
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, or related field.
Shift: USA Coverage Mountain Time (MT)
Note: Additional compensation for night shift duties will be provided as per company policy. Transportation support may be arranged for late-night logouts, if applicable.
