Job Overview:

We are looking for Senior ServiceNow Developers with 7-8 years of experience to join our team for multiple roles. These positions require deep functional expertise in ServiceNow, with a focus on configuring and customizing various ServiceNow modules. You will be responsible for delivering solutions that align with business requirements, working within the IST timezone while overlapping with UK business hours. The contract period for these roles is between 3 to 12 months, with potential extensions based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ServiceNow Configuration & Customization:

    • Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.

    • Customize and optimize various ServiceNow modules, including ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management), ITAM (Asset Management), and more.

    • Work closely with functional stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

  • Solution Design & Integration:

    • Collaborate with business teams to identify needs and deliver technical solutions that streamline processes and improve efficiency.

    • Design, develop, and integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and applications using REST APIs, SOAP, and IntegrationHub.

    • Implement workflows, automation, and process optimization using ServiceNow Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.

  • Collaborative Development:

    • Work in close partnership with other developers, architects, and business analysts to define and deliver the ServiceNow roadmap.

    • Assist in the configuration and enhancement of ServiceNow to meet evolving business needs, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.

    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and support teams as needed.

  • Data Management & Reporting:

    • Ensure the accuracy of data within ServiceNow by defining and managing data models, ensuring consistency, and overseeing data migrations or imports as required.

    • Design and develop ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics to deliver actionable insights to business teams.

    • Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize performance issues and ensure high-quality solutions.

  • Stakeholder Communication & Support:

    • Maintain ongoing communication with business stakeholders to ensure alignment between IT solutions and business objectives.

    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

    • Document all configurations, customizations, and integrations for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • 7-8 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, including configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITAM, etc.).

    • Proven experience in delivering functional solutions in ServiceNow, with a deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices and ITIL processes.

    • Experience with ServiceNow integrations and data management, including third-party tool integrations using REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, Business Rules, UI Scripts, etc.).

    • Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and other automation tools.

    • Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, reporting, and dashboarding.

    • Understanding of ITIL processes, particularly in ITSM, ITAM, and related modules.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively within a global team.

    • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing issues and opportunities for improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in Agile teams.

  • Experience with other ServiceNow modules such as Service Catalog, CMDB, or ITOM.

  • Prior experience working in UK-based client environments or dealing with UK-specific regulations and processes is a plus.
