Position Overview:

As a Senior Data Warehouse Expert, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of an Operational Data Warehouse (OEDW) system for our client. This initiative aims to create a Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for their diverse data sources, ensuring data symmetry, scalability, and security, and serving as both an Operational Data Store and a Business Intelligence (BI) repository. You will work closely with our client's Data Management department, leveraging your expertise in data warehousing and BI platforms to drive the success of this project.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Warehouse Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the Operational Data Warehouse (OEDW) system, ensuring it aligns with the client's business goals and data model architecture provided by the Data Management department.

Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various source systems, including Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow (SNOW), Workday, and Azure Cloud repositories (Fivetran, DBT, Databricks).

Data Transformation: Implement data transformation processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy within the OEDW, utilizing best practices and industry standards.

Security and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including data encryption, access controls, and auditing.

Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the OEDW's performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

BI Repository: Act as a key contributor to the OEDW's role as a Business Intelligence (BI) repository, enabling data visualization and reporting using tools such as Microsoft Power BI.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data warehouse processes, data lineage, and configurations.

Vendor Interaction: Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure seamless integration and support for BI and data warehouse platforms.

Team Collaboration: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
