Key Responsibilities
- SAP FI-AA Implementation: Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of SAP FI-AA implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live, and support.
- Configuration and Customization: Configure SAP FI-AA module to meet business requirements, including defining asset classes, depreciation areas, asset master data, and integration with other SAP modules.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze and document business processes related to asset accounting, identify gaps, and propose effective solutions to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Asset Accounting with other SAP modules such as SAP FI-GL (General Ledger), CO (Controlling), and MM (Materials Management).
- Reporting and Compliance: Develop and maintain custom reports for asset management and ensure compliance with statutory and corporate reporting requirements.
- User Training and Support: Provide training to end-users and support teams on SAP FI-AA processes and best practices.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to asset accounting processes and SAP system performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the SAP FI-AA solutions.
- Project Management: Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget, coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP Financial Accounting with a focus on Asset Accounting.
- Proven track record of successful SAP FI-AA implementations and support.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong expertise in SAP FI module, specifically FI-AA (Asset Accounting).
- Proficient in SAP configuration and customization techniques.
- Experience with integration of FI-AA with other SAP modules.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- SAP Certifications: SAP certification in Financial Accounting or Asset Accounting.
- Advanced Knowledge: Experience with advanced features of SAP FI-AA, such as parallel valuation, asset retirement obligation, and investment support.
- Project Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of various industries asset management practices and regulatory requirements.
