ADO Integrations/API Developer specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Discover and assess the current CI/CD pipeline configurations, deployments, and integration readiness across different technology stacks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand current use cases for deployment pipelines, collaboration dashboards, and notification mechanisms, aligning them with governance and management requirements.
- Identify key pain points and document existing processes related to CI/CD.
- Analyze integration architecture and design solutions based on API/Web Services/Plug-Ins availability.
- Map use cases to Quality Gates (QG) Pipelines, ranging from manual to automated processes.
- Implement Azure DevOps (ADO) integrations for the identified pipelines.
- Configure the out-of-the-box data capture fields and custom fields in ADO to support backlog management of Features and Grouping.
- Set up Out of out-of-the-box dashboards, Reports, and gauges to provide stage-wise visibility of each Feature, including dependent work items across different technology stacks.
- Validate wireframes, visualizations, alerting, and notifications via Teams and Emails based on predefined conditions, such as process delays, QG exceptions, and SLA breaches.
- Utilize ADO insights to continuously improve operational processes and quality gates across all mentioned platforms.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure successful deployments, integrations, and quality assurance across Salesforce, SAP, Informatica, .Net, and ILS.
Good to have:
Proven experience as an API Developer or Integration Specialist, with a strong background in CI/CD pipeline configurations, API design, and integration processes.
Extensive experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO) for pipeline integrations and management.
Proficiency in developing and integrating APIs, Web Services, and Plug-Ins.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), quality assurance, and release management.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
