Role- Senior Tech Specialist

Number of positions - 1
Contract duration - Initially 6 months but it will extend to a year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture & Design: Lead the design, deployment, and migration of complex Azure solutions, including Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Virtual Desktop, and security tools like Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Azure Entra ID. Focus on IaaS, PaaS, and Azure Security.
• Technical Leadership: Provide advanced technical design, SOP, and SOW deliverables. Collaborate with engineers and executives to develop and implement scalable, efficient architectures.
• Security Solutions: Implement Azure security best practices, including Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and endpoint security. Use KQL for threat hunting and develop automation solutions for security monitoring.
• Platform Engineering: Manage GitHub repositories, implement best practices for version control, and ensure smooth collaboration across teams. Set up and maintain development and testing labs for seamless integration.
• Automation & Tools: Knowledge of ARM templates, Terraform, Biceps, and Azure DevOps. Leverage tools for automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Documentation & Communication: Create clear, comprehensive documentation, and deliver engaging PowerPoint presentations to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication of technical concepts and updates.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of 7 years of Azure cloud experience and 4 years of hands-on Active Infrastructure architecting and management experience.
• Proficiency in Azure IaaS, PaaS, and Security solutions (Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Microsoft Defender, Azure Entra ID).
• Strong experience with Azure security tools (Sentinel, Defender, Qualys, KQL) and SIEM solutions.
• Solid experience in GitHub management, architecture design, and developing secure, scalable solutions.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage large initiatives.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with both technical and executive teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and Azure Arc, Sentinel, Kubernetes, Logic Apps.
• Familiarity with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and platform engineering practices.
