Job Title: Sr. ServiceNow Developer ITSM + Integration + ITAM (7+ Years)

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and third-party integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and customizing ServiceNow solutions, automating workflows, and integrating third-party systems. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, as well as proficiency in scripting, automation, and driving efficient solutions within the ITSM and ITAM domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ServiceNow Development & Customization:

    • Design, develop, and implement customized solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

    • Create, maintain, and enhance ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITAM, Incident, Problem, Change, Asset Management, and Configuration Management.

    • Develop ServiceNow scripts (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Scripts) to automate processes and improve system efficiency.

    • Customize ServiceNow workflows to meet business needs and optimize operational performance.

  • Integration & Automation:

    • Develop and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications or systems.

    • Utilize ServiceNow's Integration Hub, REST APIs, SOAP, and other integration tools for seamless data exchange.

    • Automate processes using ServiceNow orchestration and flow designer to improve efficiency and reduce manual interventions.

    • Troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain integrations to ensure continuous, reliable service.

  • ITSM & ITAM Expertise:

    • Leverage knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices to enhance incident, problem, change, and request management.

    • Implement and optimize IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, including asset lifecycle management, from procurement to retirement.

    • Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices while configuring ServiceNow ITSM and ITAM modules.

  • Collaboration & Support:

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and other teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions in line with business objectives.

    • Provide technical support and guidance for ServiceNow-related issues, performing system administration as needed.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high system availability and performance.

  • Documentation & Best Practices:

    • Maintain thorough documentation for all development, configuration, and integration processes.

    • Follow coding and design best practices, ensuring code quality, reusability, and scalability.

    • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, trends, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 7+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, specifically in ITSM, ITAM, and integrations.

    • Strong experience in scripting languages within ServiceNow (JavaScript, Glide Script, etc.).

    • Proven track record of implementing ServiceNow workflows, automation, and integrations.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform, ITSM, ITAM modules, and best practices.

    • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow's Integration Hub, REST APIs, SOAP, and web services.

    • Strong proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (e.g., Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies).

    • Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks, particularly in Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management.

    • Experience with ServiceNow Reporting, Dashboard creation, and Performance Analytics.

  • Additional Skills:

    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in an Agile development environment.

    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.

  • Experience with ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Discovery.

  • Knowledge of additional ITSM or ITAM tools is a plus.
