We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Migration Architect to lead cloud migration projects, design cloud architectures, and drive enterprise workloads to AWS. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS services, migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, re-architect), and enterprise IT landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end cloud migration initiatives from on-prem or other cloud platforms to AWS.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud architectures based on customer requirements.
• Conduct cloud readiness assessments and develop detailed migration roadmaps.
• Evaluate existing on-prem infrastructure, identify dependencies, and recommend AWS migration strategies.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Network, and Application teams to ensure seamless transitions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
• Define best practices for cloud adoption and maintain reusable architectural patterns and documentation.
• Support RFPs, proposals, and client technical workshops as a cloud SME.
• Monitor migration progress and troubleshoot any issues during execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years focused on AWS cloud architecture and migrations.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, etc.).
• Experience with migration tools like AWS Migration Hub, Application Discovery Service, DMS, CloudEndure, etc.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (ECS, EKS, Docker) is a plus.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (preferred).
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and cost management in AWS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Background in networking, storage, and data center technologies.
