Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with a strong background in ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), Core Data Services (CDS), and OData services to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- ABAP Development: Design and develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code in SAP ABAP to meet business requirements.
- RAP Framework: Implement applications using the SAP RAP framework for S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform.
- CDS Views: Design and develop CDS views and annotations for performance-optimized database interactions and reporting.
- OData Services: Develop and expose OData services for seamless integration with external applications.
- Technical Design: Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing and participate in system integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability in line with best practices.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions developed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, SAP consultants, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong experience with ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
- Proficiency in creating and managing CDS views with SAP annotations.
- Experience in designing and implementing OData services for SAP systems.
- Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture.
- Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and database performance optimization.
- Good understanding of SAP business processes and modules.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
