the Sourcing Officer is responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging qualified candidates through proactive sourcing strategies. This role will focus on building strong talent pipelines, leveraging multiple sourcing channels, and ensuring a consistent flow of candidates to meet current and future hiring needs. The Sourcing Officer will partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to support organizational workforce requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Proactively source candidates using job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and other innovative sourcing channels.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.

  • Conduct research and market mapping to identify potential talent pools.

Candidate Engagement

  • Reach out to passive and active candidates through direct sourcing methods.

  • Conduct initial candidate screening to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.

  • Nurture relationships with potential candidates to maintain long-term engagement.

Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements.

  • Share sourcing insights, talent market trends, and competitor intelligence.

  • Support employer branding initiatives by promoting opportunities and organizational culture in sourcing channels.

Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities in the ATS or recruitment database.

  • Provide regular reports on sourcing effectiveness, candidate pipeline status, and market intelligence.

  • Track and measure key sourcing metrics such as response rate, pipeline conversion, and time-to-source.
