Description KRA (Key Results Area)

Financial Accounting & Control Services

Supervise the financial controller, analyst and budgeting

activities – focusing on the financial accounting activities

performed

Ensure the Chief Financial Officer is provided with timely

reports to enhance business decision making

Ensure periodic financial statements are submitted on time

(income statement, balance sheet, changes in financial

position) and all other financial highlights deemed

essential to the management are noted

Review and approve the company's budget targets and

templates

Analyze significant budget variances and investigate

related spends with concerned department heads

Supervise the preparation of periodic bank

reconciliation statements and provided assistance

when needed

Liaise with the financial controller on the fulfillment of

external auditors requests to ensure the latter's utmost

satisfaction and understanding of operations

Coordinate budget preparation with department heads to

ensure smooth delivery of assignments and objectives

Ensure all accruals, deferrals and invoices are properly

recorded

Monitor the Financial Accounting and Control team

motivation levels and individual developments

Perform any other duties assigned by the Chief

Financial Officer

Timeliness in generating reports

Level of satisfaction of external

auditors

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, financial engineering or general Business Administration

Professional accounting qualification/certification e.g. CPA, CIMA, CA, ACCA or Masters in

Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related fields is preferred

Knowledge of Saudi and international accounting standards

EXPERIENCE

5+ years' experience in supervisory or managerial finance positions

Previous experience of working within the Middle East in a manufacturing industry

Previous experience in setting up new processes and procedures

Familiarity with Saudi tax laws and business practices

Experience in SAP FI CO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) Module is required

SKILLS:

Fluent in English

Strong leadership, managerial and supervisory skills

Strong IT skills – especially accounting/finance software

Knowledge of the industry
