Primary Teacher
About the job Primary Teacher
- Review classroom or curricula topics and assignments
- Assist students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks
- Work with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom
- Teach skills to improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills and approaches to answering test questions
- Demonstrate academic best practices for specific subjects and assignments, including research and writing tactics
- Develop and distribute teaching materials to supplement classroom lessons, including study guides
- Conduct practice tests to track progress, identify areas of improvement and help set goals for exam preparation
- Provide students positive and constructive feedback
- Offer feedback on progress to students parents and teachers where appropriate
- Build meaningful connections with students from diverse backgrounds
- Diagnose student needs through active listening techniques and questioning strategies
- Recognize different learning styles and student preferences
- Design differentiated learning goals
- Stay up to date with the school curriculum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education from accredited university or college
- Master's degree in Education is preferred.
- Must have at least 3-5 years of teaching experience
- Preferably with Special Education experience
- Experience in British curriculum for all levels (Primary, Secondary and High School Level)
- Strong teaching skills across subjects such as Math, English, Science (Biology, Physics, Chemistry)
- Native Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills
