About the job Financial Manager/Director
Job Purpose:
To spearhead the company's financial operations, ensuring strategic direction, accurate reporting, and compliance, while driving financial performance and supporting long-term business goals.
Job Duties:
§ Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive financial reporting system.
§ Oversee the MIS function, guaranteeing accurate and timely financial data for informed decision-making.
§ Implement a cost accounting system to meticulously track and analyze manufacturing costs, aiming to reduce overall costs.
§ Craft annual budgets and forecasts, monitor performance against established plans, and provide monthly variance analysis.
§ Conduct detailed financial analysis, offering insightful recommendations to support business strategy and enhance operational efficiency.
§ Manage relationships with external auditors, facilitating smooth audits and ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance role (required).
- Proven experience leading a finance team in a manufacturing/industrial environment is a must.
Skills:
Preferred:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Must:
Expertise in financial reporting, MIS, costing, pricing, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
Proficiency in relevant financial software (e.g., ERP systems, advanced Excel skills).
Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken)
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
Solid presentation skills up to Board presentation level.
